Poland to Croatia — which vignettes do you need?
Autovig guide for the Poland–Croatia route: which country pages to check first and how to compare validity periods before you leave.
A road trip from Poland to the Adriatic coast (Istria, Dalmatia, or Zagreb) typically runs through the Czech Republic, Austria, and Slovenia. While Poland uses a partial toll system on specific motorways, the three transit countries all require digital vignettes.

Key tips for the corridor
### 1. The Czech "Eco" Exemption If you drive an electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid with CO2 emissions below 50g/km, you may be eligible for a vignette exemption in the Czech Republic. However, you must register the vehicle in the system before entering the motorway.
### 2. The Slovenia 7-Day Gap Slovenia offers a 7-day vignette. If your trip is a standard Sat-Sat holiday, the 7-day vignette will expire on the way back. It is often safer to buy the 1-month vignette or two 7-day vignettes.
### 3. Arriving in Austria (Nickelsdorf / Salzburg) Austria requires a digital vignette. Remember the 18-day activation delay for 2-month and annual products bought online. For immediate use, stick to the 1-day or 10-day vignette.
