Frequently asked questions

Do motorcycles need a Czech vignette?
No. Motorcycles are exempt in the Czech Republic.
Do trailers need a separate Czech vignette?
No separate vignette is normally required for a trailer behind a vehicle up to 3.5 t, but you should still verify the full vehicle category on the official portal.
How much is the annual Czech vignette?
€106.15 (CZK 2,570) for a car up to 3.5 t. It is the only long-term product — there is no option between 30 days and one year.
Is the annual Czech vignette tied to the calendar year?
No. It is valid for 365 days from the start date you choose.
Is there a 2- or 4-month vignette for the Czech Republic?
No. The Czech system has only four durations: 1 day, 10 days, 30 days and 1 year. The 30-day vignette (€19.82 (CZK 480)) is the only monthly product; for longer stays the alternatives are several 30-day vignettes or the annual vignette.
How do I avoid scam sites?
Use edalnice.cz, check the final price before payment and ignore unsolicited fine notices sent by SMS or email.
Are prices from earlier years (2021–2025) still valid?
No. Czech e-vignette tariffs are indexed and have changed several times since 2021. Use the current 2026 prices on this page or the official edalnice price list.
